Beginner Guide
Taxi Boss blends driving, drifting, and tycoon management. You transport passengers for cash, upgrade vehicles, and eventually run a company with passive income from AI drivers.
Core Gameplay Loop
- 1 Pick a starter car and complete Harold's tutorial tasks.
- 2 Drive passengers — higher vehicle ratings unlock better-paying customers.
- 3 Earn cash to buy better cars or start your company office.
- 4 Collect items from customers and map spawns to upgrade your office.
- 5 Assign cars to company drivers for passive income while you race or do call missions.
- 6 Farm Time Trial medals to unlock exclusive high-performance vehicles for free.
Starter Vehicle Choice
| Foster Acuta | Balanced handling — solid all-rounder for new players. |
|---|---|
| Hunda S2k | Sporty feel — good for players who enjoy drifting early on. |
| Pegiot 46 | Stable and forgiving — recommended if you are new to driving games. |
Harold's Tutorial Tasks
- Complete every task Harold assigns before grinding — they teach core systems.
- Tutorial rewards include cash and items that accelerate your first car upgrade.
- Finish the tutorial before investing heavily in cosmetic mods.
Early Game Tips
- Customers pay more when you deliver them faster — learn the map shortcuts.
- Vehicle rating gates which passengers you can accept; prioritize rating over cosmetics early.
- Save cash for your first meaningful car upgrade rather than spending on minor mods.
- Redeem all active codes before buying your second vehicle.
Controls
Taxi Boss features detailed driving mechanics including indicators, neutral gear, and drift. Master these controls to maximize passenger tips and Time Trial performance.
PC Keyboard
| Accelerate | W |
|---|---|
| Brake / Reverse | S |
| Steer Left / Right | A / D |
| Left / Right Indicator | Q / E |
| Hazard Lights | G |
| Headlights | L |
| Neutral Gear | Shift |
| Drift | Spacebar |
| Horn | H |
Xbox Controller
| Accelerate / Brake | RT / LT |
|---|---|
| Steer | Left Stick |
| Indicators | D-Pad Left / Right |
| Hazard Lights | D-Pad Down |
| Headlights | D-Pad Up |
| Drift | A Button |
| Horn | X Button |
Driving Tips
- Use indicators near intersections — some customers react positively to proper driving.
- Drift through mountain curves to maintain speed without losing passenger satisfaction.
- Neutral gear helps with fine parking at tight drop-off points.
- Headlights are required for night-time passenger requests in some areas.
Money & Company
Long-term wealth in Taxi Boss comes from your company office and trained drivers. Active driving funds early growth; passive income scales you to endgame.
Office Progression
- Purchase and upgrade your office to unlock new features, cars, and employee slots.
- There are 16 office levels — each tier unlocks better capabilities and higher income ceilings.
- Office upgrades require items collected from customers and map resource spawns.
- Gold Bars can skip office level requirements — save them for bottlenecks, not early levels.
Company Drivers
- Assign vehicles to drivers in the company menu to generate passive income per minute.
- You can employ up to 8 drivers at maximum office level.
- Drivers occasionally break down — dispatch a mechanic (unlocked via office levels) to fix them.
- Driver income depends ONLY on the vehicle's default star rating — performance upgrades do not increase passive earnings.
Driver Stat Priority
| Tips | Highest priority — directly multiplies passive income (1.0x to 1.5x at max). |
|---|---|
| Experience | Raises star rating cap so drivers can use higher-rated vehicles. |
| Skill | Raises horsepower cap — needed for powerful cars but does not boost income directly. |
Money-Making Strategies
- Upgrade Tips on all drivers before heavily investing in Experience or Skill.
- Give drivers cheap cars with high base star ratings instead of your main driving car.
- Focus on Call Missions daily for burst income while passive earnings accumulate.
- At endgame, Bugatti Chiron and Cadillac Limousine setups can exceed $1M/hour with full optimization.
- Never performance-mod company fleet cars for income — it wastes money with zero passive return.
Cars & Tier List
There is no single best car in Taxi Boss — the optimal choice depends on your goal. Use these scenario-based tiers as a starting point, then adjust for your playstyle.
Early Game (First $50K)
Matsuda Mia
Cheap, upgradeable engine — excellent for medal farming once tuned.
Pegiot 46
Forgiving starter that transitions smoothly into mid-game.
Hunda S2k
Strong drift car for mountain routes and Time Trials.
Foster Acuta
Reliable but outpaced quickly — upgrade or replace early.
Active Driving / High-Paying Customers
BMotors i7
Excellent balance of rating, speed, and passenger capacity.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
High rating with strong income per trip.
Bugatti Chiron
Endgame luxury — requires skilled driving and high driver stats.
Cadillac Limousine
Maximum per-minute earnings when fully optimized.
Company Fleet (Passive Income)
Any high base-rating budget car
Prioritize default stars over brand — cheap 5-star beats expensive 3-star.
Performance-modded cars
Mods do not increase driver income — never assign these to fleet.
Limited event cars (high base rating)
Good if base rating is high; ignore cosmetic rarity.
Time Trial / Racing
Koneg Jescool Raid
Platinum medal unlock — top-tier Time Trial car.
Porschia SportZ
Gold medal unlock — strong circuit performance.
Estupendo Biabel
Silver medal unlock — mid-tier racing option.
BMotors NM
Bronze medal unlock — entry-level Time Trial car.

Gold Bars
- Premium currency dropped rarely by VIP customers: Under Boss, CEO, Mafia Boss, Lawyer, Shopper.
- Use Gold Bars to skip office level requirements or skip car upgrade timers.
- Save Gold Bars for late-game bottlenecks — early levels are cheaper with farmed materials.
Map Resource Spawns
- Concrete Bags and Metal Pipes respawn every 2 minutes at fixed map locations.
- Glass Panes do not respawn on a timer — prioritize picking them up when you see them.
- The Part Shop sits near the bridge connecting Taxi Central to the rest of Boss City.
- Visit new map locations once for a one-time exploration cash bonus ($5,700 total across all POIs).
Map & Locations
Boss City is a large open map with districts, viewpoints, industrial zones, and race circuits. Knowing locations saves time and increases per-trip earnings.

- Medals also reward Trophies used for other vehicle purchases.

Script Guide
Many players search for Taxi Boss scripts and auto-farm tools. This section explains the risks — we do not distribute, link, or endorse any scripts or executors.
Risks of Using Scripts
- Roblox Terms of Service prohibit third-party executors — violations lead to permanent account bans.
- Roblox uses Byfron/Hyperion anti-cheat that detects injection and impossible in-game behavior.
- Free executors frequently contain malware, keyloggers, and ransomware targeting younger players.
- Hardware bans (HWID) can block your entire PC from Roblox, not just one account.
- Auto-farm scripts devalue legitimate progression and can ruin the experience for other players.
Legitimate Alternatives
- Redeem all active codes for free starting cash.
- Follow the Company guide above for scalable passive income.
- Farm Time Trial medals for free high-tier vehicles instead of buying them.
- Join Discord for event announcements that offer limited-time rewards.
- Focus on Call Missions and driver Tips upgrades for efficient earnings without cheating.
taxiboss.wiki is a fan guide. We provide educational information about scripts to help you make informed decisions — we never host or recommend exploit tools.
